Terms of Use

FaceMirror 3 · Version 1.0 · Effective date: October 5, 2026 · facemirror.online

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the FaceMirror platform at facemirror.online ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.

These Terms apply to all users, including individual users and professional partners (coaches, consultants, and other practitioners).

2. Description of Service

FaceMirror is a behavioral self-reflection service. During the session you say words one per rhythm beat for up to 5 minutes; the service measures the loudness and rhythm of your voice. You then answer a 50-statement questionnaire and a profile questionnaire. The report is created with AI (Anthropic Claude); Deep Dive on the topics you choose is available at the EXTRA level. The camera is not used.

The Platform is designed exclusively for:

FaceMirror is a self-observation tool. Its outputs are not a medical, psychological, or legal assessment.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform. By using FaceMirror, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

The Platform is not available to residents of the Russian Federation.

Access to a session is by invitation code.

4. User Obligations

You agree to:

5. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Session data — the speech transcript, voice metrics, and questionnaire and profile answers — is processed to generate your report. The audio recording is not stored, and the camera is not used. Data handling practices are described in detail in the Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, methodology, software, and design elements of the Platform are the exclusive property of FaceMirror and its founders. Two patent applications have been filed (Russia, 2026); PCT filing is planned for October 2026.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without express written permission.

Your behavioral profile and report are provided to you for personal use; the decision to share your own report with third parties rests with the user.

7. Disclaimers and Limitations

No clinical or diagnostic use

FaceMirror outputs are not psychiatric or psychological diagnoses. Results are not valid for employment screening, legal proceedings, forensic evaluation, or any context requiring certified psychometric evidence.

No warranty

The Platform is provided "as is." FaceMirror makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FaceMirror shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

8. Biometric Data — Illinois Notice (BIPA)

This section applies to residents of the State of Illinois, USA, and is provided in accordance with the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA), 740 ILCS 14.

We measure voice loudness and the rhythm of spoken words. Pitch, timbre and spectrum are not analyzed, no voice templates are created, and the voice is not used for identification. The audio recording is not stored: it is sent for speech recognition and is not saved. The transcript text is stored. In some jurisdictions such parameters may be considered biometric data — that is why we ask for your consent. Before the session begins, we separately ask for your explicit consent to process these parameters solely for the purpose of the session.

36 months after the session, direct identifiers and the links and means of access controlled by FaceMirror are deleted; behavioral data is kept in de-identified form for research and improving FaceMirror. We do not promise to rule out matching by time. Voice parameters are never sold, leased, traded, or otherwise disclosed for profit.

To submit a deletion request, contact: contact@facemirror.online.

9. Termination

FaceMirror reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Platform at any time, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to users, the Platform, or third parties.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), without regard to conflict of law principles.
